Natural History

This section of the website will feature the natural history of Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park. Covered will be the formation of the mountains, ancient animals (the age of the dinosaurs! wooly mastodons!), the glaciers that carved the mountains into their current forms, and elements of the current day—animals, plants and the forces of nature.
